Vivo Y22s with a 6.55-inch LCD display, Snapdragon 680 SoC launched

Vivo has launched its new smartphone Vivo Y22s with lots of improvements over its predecessor. Vivo Y22s 6.55-inch IPS LCD display, Snapdragon 680, 8 GB RAM, 128GB storage, 50+2 MP rear camera, 8MP selfie camera, and 5,000 mAh battery.

Vivo Y22s features a 6.55-inch full HD LCD display with 720×1612 pixels resolution. The display panel has a 90Hz refresh rate and an 89.67% screen-to-body ratio. The phone runs Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12.

The phone packs an octa-core Snapdragon 680 SoC with 8GB RAM. It also has 128GB of internal storage with an option to expand storage via microSD.

Vivo Y22s features a dual camera with 50 megapixels primary camera and 2 megapixels secondary camera. For selfies, the phone includes an 8 megapixels selfie camera.

The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, NFC, USB OTG, USB Type-C, and Micro-USB. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support via USB Type-C.

Vivo Y22s comes in Starlit Blue and Summer Cyan colors. The phone measures 164.30×76.10×8.38mm and weighs 192g.

The phone is priced at VND 5,990,000 ($255) and is now up for sale in Vietnam. We have no information if the phone will also be launched in other countries.
