Today, Nvidia launched its GeForce RTX 3090 Ti for $1999. It was announced back in January this year and the company claims it to be the “fastest GPU on the planet.” The company will also sell a limited-edition Founders Edition board from Best Buy online.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 Ti comes with 40 teraflops of GPU performance. The base clock speed is 1560MHz which can be boosted to 1860MHz. It also includes 10,752 CUDA cores, 78 RT-TFLOPs, and 320 Tensor-TFLOPs. It also gets 24GB of GDDR6X memory and the speed has been increased from 19.5 Gbps to 21 Gbps.

Nvidia claims that the RTX 3090 Ti is 64 percent faster than the RTX 2080 Ti and 9 percent faster than RTX 3090. The GPU draws 450W power which is 100W more than the RTX 3090. So you will have to use the power supply that can supply 850 watts at the minimum. This GPU uses a 16-pin PCIe Gen5 power cable.

The Graphics card is for 8K gaming but the company also markets it as a content creator’s card. It is basically for those who want the fastest GPU for gaming or creative tasks. Not just gamers, Data scientists, developers, and CG animators can also use this GPU for their projects.

Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3090 Ti is now available starting at $1,999.
