Canva is acquiring London-based data visualization company Flourish. None of the companies disclosed the financial terms of the deal.

Flourish was founded back in 2016 and offers data visualization tools to companies. These tools can turn data points into easy-to-understand charts, graphs, and visuals. The company boasts over 800,000 customers and has raised $1 million in 2 funding rounds. Flourish claims that customers have created more than 9.5 million visualizations on the platform and the platform has attracted over 20 billion views to date.

All 44 employees of Flourish will be joining Canva.

“Data storytelling has emerged as an increasingly critical part of visual communication for teams across almost every industry,” said Canva co-founder and CEO, Melanie Perkins. “Welcoming Flourish to Canva marks the latest step in our mission to empower the world to design.”

Canva is a popular graphic design platform that is used to create social media graphics, presentations, posters, documents, and other visual content. The company has raised over $570 million to date and the most recent funding was raised last September. The last funding valued Canva at $40 billion.
