NVIDIA has launched its RTX 3070 Ti and 3080 Ti GPU desktop cards for laptops. The company claims that laptops powered by these GPUs will offer excellent 1440p gaming.

RTX 3070 Ti and 3080 Ti GPUs for laptops come with 16GB of GDDR6 memory. The company claims that the clock speed of these cards is also the fastest ever seen in a laptop. But they didn’t share the exact clock speed details.

3070 Ti is around 70 percent faster than the RTX 2070 Super laptops. It can offer 1440p games at ultra settings at 100 fps. RTX 3080 Ti GPU will be able to run games with 1440p ultra settings at over 120 fps.

The first laptop powered by 3080 Ti and 3070 Ti GPUs will be available in February. GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti will be available in laptops priced starting at $2,499 and $1,499 respectively.

GeForce RTX 3050 GPU is also based on the same Ampere architecture. It features 8GB of GDDR6 memory and promises 1440p gaming at over 60 fps with ray-tracing enabled. It features 2560 CUDA cores running at up to 1.78GHz. To power Nvidia’s DLSS for smart upscaling and AI workloads, the GPU packs third-generation Tensor cores.
