Google officially releases Android 12

After multiple beta releases, Google has finally released the Android 12 and pushed the source to the Android Open Source Project. Don’t be too excited after reading the announcement, It will still take months to reach the Android 12 to your devices.

Google will start rolling out Android 12 to Pixel devices starting sometime in the “next few weeks.” Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL, Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a (5G), Pixel 5, and Pixel 5a are the Pixel devices getting Android 12 updates in the coming weeks.

Smartphones from brands including Samsung, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Tecno, Vivo, and Xiaomi will get Android 12 later this year. Other OEMs take a few months to adapt to a new Android version.

Android 12 is coming with a new design language called Material You that promises an improved and personalized experience. It also brings Material Design 3 updates into your apps, The company has also redesigned widgets, updated Notification UI, and improved the performance.
