Intel announced a new ‘Arc’ brand for its Intel Arc Will Be Intel’s First High-Performance Gaming GPUs. This brand will be used to launch discrete gaming graphics cards and new GPUs for notebooks. Intel plans to bring its first graphics card as early as Q1 2022.

Now you can guess that Intel Arc GPUs will be high-performance GPUs for gaming PCs and gaming laptops. Intel has also confirmed the code name “Alchemist” for the first graphics card scheduled to release in Q1 2022. Other products’ codenames are Batllemage, Celestial, and Druid.

Intel confirmed that Alchemist GPUs will support advanced features including hardware-based ray tracing, mesh shading, variable-rate shading, and Direct X 12 Ultimate. These GPUs will also be able to upscale low-res graphics to high resolutions and artificial intelligence-based supersampling.

We don’t have any specs sheet or official information on specs yet. Some reports claim that the first GPU could feature 512 execution units.

We know these GPUs are coming in Q1 2022. We can expect more details on Intel Arc GPUs before the official launch.
