Apple has officially announced that its Worldwide Developers Conference event, often referred to as WWDC, will start on Monday, June 7, and runs through Friday, June 11. At WWDC 2021, Apple is likely to unveil the future of its software platforms, including iOS 15, macOS 12, watchOS 8, and more.

Like in the previous year, Apple will hold a virtual Worldwide Developers Conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic. All developers can freely join the event.

We still don’t have much details what Apple has on the cards. Apple manages to keep most things secrets until the official announcement. The official announcement comes with a banner image with a memoji character wearing a glass where one can see the WWDC date in the reflection. Not sure if this is the hint for AR glasses.

Apple promises to offer unique insight into the future of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS at the WWDC 2021 event. keynote and State of the Union events, online sessions, 1:1 labs for developers, and new ways for developers to communicate and interact with Apple engineers

Last year, Apple announced its own Apple Silicon and the transition from Intel to Apple Silicon is still underway. Apple could offer an update about the progress of this transition.
