Tecno Mobiles has launched a new smartphone series POVA and introduced the first Tecno POVA in this series. The phone starts at Rs. 9999. Key specs of Tecno POVA include 6.8-inch HD+, Helio G80 SoC, quad rear cameras, 8 MP selfie camera, and 6000 mAh battery.
Tecno POVA comes with a 6.8-inch HD+ Dot-in display. The display boasts 480 nits brightness. It packs an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G80 12nm processor with Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. The phone comes in two RAM storage models including 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 256GB with a microSD card slot.
Tecno POVA runs on HiOS 7.0 based on Android 10 out of the box.
The phone has a quad-camera setup that includes a 16 megapixels primary camera, 2 megapixels 4cm macro camera, 2 megapixels depth camera, and an AI camera. It also has a Quad-LED flash. There’s also an 8 megapixels selfie camera with a dual-LED flash at the front. The camera app offers features like AI Selfie Camera, AI Beauty, Wide Selfie, Night Portrait, AI HDR, and AR Shot.
It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, and micro USB. It packs a 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
The phone comes with a gradient back and will be available in Speed Purple, Dazzle Black, and Magic Blue colors. Dimensions measure 171.23 x 77.57 x 9.4mm and it weighs 215.5g.
