Microsoft is also offering refunds on Cyberpunk 2077 digital sales

The console launch of Cyberpunk 2077 didn’t go as planned. After several users complain, CD Projekt Red announced refunds to all interested customers. Sony removed the game from the PlayStation Store and started offering refunds. Now Microsoft has also started offering refunds on all digital sales of Cyberpunk 2077 on Microsoft Store.

Unlike Sony, Microsoft is not removing the game from Microsoft Store. If you want, you can still purchase a digital copy of the game.

CD Projekt Red has also promised to fix bugs by releasing patches in January and February.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world adventure game that was announced back in May 2012. The company also released the first trailer in 2013. Since then, gamers have been waiting for this game. COVID-19 pandemic affected the release of the game in 2020 and released delayed multiple times. Finally, the game released on December 10 but console launch was a complete mess. PC release received favorable reviews.

The game has already won over one hundred awards at different gaming conferences. Cyberpunk 2077 received over 8 million pre-orders. Within an 12 hours after the release, the game saw over one million concurrent players on Steam. It shows how excited people were for the game.
