Micromax was once the number 2 smartphone marker in India and was competing against Samsung for top spot. After the entry of several Chinese brands in India, Micromax faced tough competition and lost its market share.
Now when the Indian government is encouraging local brands under the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiative, Micromax has decided to make a comeback. We still do not know when the company will launch its next phone, but we can expect the launch next month.
