Popular dating app Tinder is introducing one-on-one video calls to offer virtual dates. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, it is recommended to have social distancing. That’s why virtual dating is a need now.

The video call can be initiated only when both parties agree to. If you want a video call, you can toggle the Face to Face button. Other people will never know that you have done this. When the other person also uses the toggle, you will both be able to make video calls.

Both the persons will also have to agree to Tinder’s ground rules. The video call will have a 50/50 split screen with options to turn off mic and video. One can end the call anytime.

The video calling feature was announced back in May to offers users an option to meet their Tinder dates online. Now the feature is available to Tinder members in Virginia, Illinois, Georgia, and Colorado. Soon it will also be available to other users once Tinder evaluates the initial testing.

Tinder has also given the option to give feedback about video calls once it is ended. There will also be an option to report a user if you face any kind of harassment. Tinder will still have to work hard to give girls a safe environment.
