A few days back, I also created a list of Chinese apps and their alternatives. Now when India and China are in a war-like situation, the Chinese government could use these apps to monitor Indian citizens. All Chinese companies track their users and share user data with the Chinese government. This is the reason several countries have already banned several Chinese apps.

Zoom was already in radar and India’s home ministry had issued an advisory on the use of Zoom back in April. People have already been demanding a ban on Tiktok that is promoting sexual abuse and hate.
