HTC India has announced the launch of a budget phone HTC wildfire R70 in India. HTC India tweeted to announce the launch and the phone is now listed on the official website without confirming the pricing.

HTC wildfire R70 features a 6.53 inch 19.5:9 HD+ display. The display has a U-shaped notch for the selfie camera. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie with HTC sense UI.

It is powered octa-core MediaTek MT6763 processor and comes with 2GB RAM. The phone also has 32 GB of storage with an option to expand storage up to 156GB.

It has a triple camera setup that includes 16 megapixels primary shooter with ƒ/1.75 large aperture, 2 megapixels macro camera and a 2 megapixels depth camera. The camera app features beauty mode and AR stickers. There is also an 8 megapixels selfie camera.

The phone has a fingerprint sensor located not the back panel. It features 4G LTE , Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GHPS and micro USB. The phone packs 4000 mAh battery.

Dimensions of the phone measure 163.2 x 77.8 x 8.9 mm and it weighs 189g grams. The phone comes in two colors: Aurora Blue and Night black.

HTC has not confirmed pricing or availability details. I will update the article when I have information from the brand.
