Xiaomi launches Mi Watch with 1.78-inch AMOLED Display, Snapdragon Wear 3100 and eSIM support
Along with 108 megapixels phone Mi CC9 Pro, Xiaomi also announced its first smartphone Mi Watch in China.
The Mi Watch features a 1.78-inch AMOLED touch screen display and supports over 100 watch faces. The back of the watch is made out of ceramic and the rest of the watch has aluminum alloy along with a matte finish. Users can use the crown to navigate the UI. The company has also added a second button on the right side for the microphone and other functions. Straps are made using anti-allergic, and skin-friendly Fluoro rubber.
It packs Snapdragon Wear 3100 Platform with four Cortex A7 cores clocked at 1.2GHz has 1GB RAM and 8GB eMMC storage. Mi Watch runs on WearOS and comes with Xiaomi XiaoAI assistant. There’s a built-in App Store with more than 40 optimized Chinese apps including TikTok, Nio and QQ Messenger has been designed for this watch.
This smartwatch can automatically track 10 sports activities. It can also track heart-rate, and sleep along with blood oxygen VO2 max, and body energy.
It has a speaker and a microphone both. The device is also water-resistant for swimming.
Mi Watch features WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, and NFC connectivity. It also supports eSIM and 4G VoLTE calling through all the major operators in China.
It packs a 570mAh battery that offers up to 36hours of battery life on 4G.
Mi Watch costs 1299 yuan comes in Silver and Elegant Black colors with a rubber band.
Interested buyers can pre-register starting today at 5 PM for the first sale. The first sale will be held at 12 noon on November 11, 2019. Xiomi has also launched an exclusive edition of the watch that features polished stainless steel body and stainless steel strap. This exclusive edition is priced at 1999 Yuan.
