Xiaomi just announced its new smartphone Mi CC9 Pro in China. As the leaks suggested, this is the first phone to feature 1080 megapixels camera.
Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro features a 6.47-inch Full HD+ AMOLED Display with DCI-P3 Wide Color Gamut and 430nit brightness. It packs a powerful Octa-Core Snapdragon 730G Processor with Adreno 618 GPU. It comes in three different storage includes 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. It runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 9 Pie.
The phone comes with a Penta camera setup that includes 108 megapixels rear camera with Samsung HMX sensor, f/1.69 aperture, 7P lens and OIS along with 12 megapixels telephoto camera with 2PD sensor with 1.4um for 2x zoom, 8 megapixels camera for 5X optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, 50x digital zoom, OIS, 20 megapixels 117° ultra-wide0angle camera and 2 megapixels macro lens for 1.5cm macro shots. The camera can record 4k 60fps videos and 960fps at 720p slo-mo videos. It also has 32 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro also scored 121 points on the DxoMark test that puts it at the top of the list with HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro.
The phone has an infrared sensor and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It also supports Hi-Res audio.
Connectivity features of the phone include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C. It packs 5260 man battery with support to 30W fast charging.
The phone has a 3D glass back and will be sold in Aurora Green, Glacier White, and Midnight Black colors. It measures 157.8×74.2×9.67mm and weighs 208g.
Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro will be up for pre-order today at 5 PM local time in two variants including 6/128 GB and 8/256 GB. It will go on sale starting midnight on November 11 at Xiaomi’s official channels in China.
