Along with Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro, Honor also announced a new fitness band Honor Band 5 in China. Honor Band 5 is the successor of last year’s Honor Band 4.

Honor Band 5 features a 0.95-inch AMOLED color 2.5D touchscreen display along with a Home button.

It has automatic activity tracking that lets you track running, cycling, swimming and more. Honor Band 5 features TruSleep 3.5 that uses cardiopulmonary and dynamics spectrum (CPC) to monitor your sleep and give personalized sleep recommendations.

The fitness band is also water-resistant and can survive in up to 50meters of water. It also has a SpO2 sensor that estimates blood oxygen levels. It also has a PPG heart rate sensor for continuous Heart rate tracking.

It is compatible with smartphones running on Android 4.4 or iOS 9.9. Like other fitness bands, it can also show you Call and Message notifications. You can also mute incoming call directly from the band. It also has a Sedentary reminder.

Honor Band 5 packs 100mAh battery that offers up to 14 days of usage time.

Honor Band 5 is priced at 189 yuan. There’s also an NFC version that costs 219 yuan. It is now available for order and will go on sale starting from July 29th.
