Vivo S1 Pro with Snapdragon 675 SoC and 32MP pop-up selfie camera becomes official

Earlier this year in March, Vivo launched Vivo S1. Now the company has upgraded the phone with the launch of Vivo S1 Pro. The phone looks similar but offers better specs.

Vivo S1 Pro features a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED notchless display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display also comes with the protection of 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. It has a pop-up selfie camera, so there is no notch. Vivo claims a screen-to-body ratio of 91.64%.

The phone is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 675 SoC with 6GB or 8GB RAM. Storage is also expandable further up to 256GB. It has Adreno 612 GPU to handle graphics. The phone runs on Android Pie-based Funtouch OS 9 out-of-the-box.

It has triple camera setup on that back that includes 48 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels wide-angle camera, and 5 megapixels depth camera. The phone has 32 megapixels selfie camera.

Vivo S1 Pro features an in-display fingerprint scanner. It also features Vivo’s AI-based voice assistant Jovi. There is also a dedicated button to activate the Jovi.

Vivo S1 Pro features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB, and GPS. The phone packs 3,700 mAh battery.

The phone comes in Blue and Red colors. It will on sale in China starting May 9.
