Huawei announces wireless earphones “Freelace” offering up to 18 hours playback

At the launch event of P30 series in Paris, Huawei also launched its latest wireless earphones Huawei Freelace.

The earphones come with Built-in USB Type-C plug that can be used to charge the earphones. You can plug it into a phone and this method is also used to paint it.

It has 28-degree ergonomic earbuds that claims to offer a comfortable fit. It is made of anodized aluminium alloy. Earphones are also wrapped in nickel-titanium alloy and liquid silicon. The wire remains tangle-free. It is also IPX5 rated for being Water resistant.

Huawei Freelace has 9.2 mm dynamic driver unit. It also has a built-in Hall magnetic sensor that can detect when headphones are in use. When you attach the earbuds together, it will disconnect it from the phone. When you separate earbuds, it will recommend.

It uses Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. It also comes with Dual-channel Wind Noise Reduction and Bluetooth noise cancelling algorithm.

It packs 120 mAh battery and Huawei claims 18 hours of playback. Just 5 minutes of charging can offer 4 hours of playback.

Huawei Freelace comes in Graphite black, Amber Sunrise, Emerald Green and Moonlight Silver colors. It weighs just 27 grams.

It is priced at 99 Euros and will go on sale soon.
