Honor Magic 2 3D with 3D structured light and graphene heat dissipation tech announced

Honor announced its Honor Magic 2 smartphone back in October last year. Now the company has introduced Honor Magic 2 3D. This phone improves the original phone by adding 3D structure light and graphene heat dissipation technology.

The phone has a sliding back where the back can be slide up to reveal the front camera setup. There is no change in the physical design of the phone.

Honor Magic 2 3D comes with a 6.39 FHD+ AMOLED display and the phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.0. The phone is powered by octa-core Kirin 980 processor with Mali-G76MP10 GPU. The phone will be available in 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with a 256GB storage option.

The phone also features graphene cooling technology that improves heat dissipation efficiency.

The phone features a triple camera that includes 16 megapixels primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, 24 megapixels monochrome camera with f/1.8 aperture and 16 megapixels super wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. The camera also features LED flash, AIS, and AI intelligent stabilization. It also features 16 megapixels front camera along with two 2 megapixels sensors.

With the help of two 2 megapixels additional cameras at the front along with3D structured light, the phone offers 3D Face Unlock. This feature tracks 10,000 points and it even works in dark. So, this Face unlock is much secure.

Honor Magic 2 3D also features under-display fingerprint sensor. The phone is IPX2 rated for bing water resistance.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz) (wave2), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS (L1 + L5 dual band), NFC, and USB Type-C (GEN1). The phone comes with 3500mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge.

It is now available in China for 5799 yuan.
