Honor Magic 2 with 6.39-inch display, slider design and triple rear cameras announced
Huawei’s Honor brand has just announced its new smartphone Honor Magic 2 in China. The phone comes with full view display without any notch. It has an anti-dust slider design similar to Mi Mix 3. The sliding part has a front camera sensor, two depth camera sensors, IR Sensor, and earpiece.
The phone has 6.39-inch (2340 × 1080 pixels) FHD+ AMOLED 19.5:9 display. It offers a pixel density of 403ppi and supports the DCI-P3 (108 percent) color. The phone boasts a 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The phone is powered by HUAWEI Kirin 980 processor with ARM Mali-G76MP10 GPU. It comes in 6GB RAM with 128 Storage and 8 GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage options.
Honor Magic 2 features a triple camera setup on the back that includes 16 megapixels primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 24 megapixels secondary monochrome sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 16 megapixels third super wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. The camera has AI intelligent stabilization.
The front side also got the triple camera that includes 16 megapixels primary sensor with f/ 2.0 aperture, 2 megapixels secondary and 2 megapixels third sensor for capturing depth information. This setup also supports 3D face unlock and 3D Qmoji.
The phone has an In-display fingerprint sensor.
The phone is 8.3 mm thick and weighs 206 grams. It is IPX2 rated for water resistance that makes it dustproof and splash-proof.
The phone has no headphone jack. Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C connectivity. It packs 3500 mAh battery with support to 40W SuperCharge. It claims to charge the phone from 0 to 50% in 15 minutes and 0 to 85% in just 30 minutes.
