Centric S1 with 6.2-inch Full HD AMOLED display, Helio P70, pop-up selfie camera launched at MWC 2019

Indian smartphone company, Centric has launched its first pop-up selfie camera phone Centric S1 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 in Barcelona. This phone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor and a Face Unlock like high-end features.

Centric S1 features a 6.2 Full HD+ AMOLED display and offers 92 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. It comes in two models including 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.

The phone has a dual camera on the back that includes 16 megapixels primary and 5 megapixels secondary camera. It also has 8 megapixels pop-up selfie camera.

It packs 3800 mAh battery with support to fast charing. It claims to charge the phone up to 50 percent in 20 minutes. It also supports Wireless charging.

Centric S1 starts at $310 for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage while the price of 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model was not announced.

Centric is not a new brand, but it was not much popular. We have reviewed two of its smartphone including Centric A1 and Centric L1. Both the phones were good but I was only worried about the after sales service. Now after seeing such an impressive phone from the brand, I am really curious to review it and see if this phone is really worthy enough to buy.
