We already know that Microsoft is adopting the opensource Chromium project for building the next version of its Edge browser. The preview build of the browser is expected to come in early 2019.
The company has now stated the registration for beta testers. If you are interested in testing the new Microsoft Edge based on Chromium, you can register and enter your details.

It is important to note that you need to own a Windows 10 laptop or desktop to be able to try the new Edge browser. There is no information whether the app for macOS will be released at the same time or it will come later.
