Xiaomi, India’s number one smartphone brand, has just announced to achieve a new milestone in India. It has sold over 5 million units of Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro in just 4 months of launch. The company also claims that Redmi Note 5 series is also the fastest to cross the 5 million mark in India.
Xiaomi didn’t confirm the individual sales figure for Redmi note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro.

Redmi Note 4 took 6 months to cross 5 million units and a year to cross 10 million units. With this impressive sales figure, it was also the best selling phone of 2017. Now the successor is ruling the 2018.
Both Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro are popular among users and Xiaomi was facing issues in fulfilling the demand. So, it decided to import few parts that forced company to increase the price of Redmi Note 5 Pro. Even after the increase in price, demand of Redmi Note 5 Pro was the same. The phone goes out of stock quickly in its weekly sales.
