Specs of Google Pixel 2 XL Leaked Ahead of Official Launch

In few hours, Google will officially unveil Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones. We already saw the press renders of Pixel 2 XL and now we have the full specification sheet of the same phone.

As per the recent leak, the Pixel 2 XL will have a 6-inch P-OLED display offering 18:9 screen with 1,440 x 2,880px resolution. It The screen has 3D Arc Gorilla Glass 5 protection as well.

The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with support to Google Assistant out of the box. It is powered by 2.35GHz octa-core Qualcomm processor. While the chipset name was not mentioned but we know it is Snapdragon 835. It also has Adreno 540 GPU

The phone is listed to have 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64 GB storage. It has 8 megapixels front camera with f/2.4 aperture. There was no mention of the rear camera. But rumors suggest it to be 12 megapixels sensor with OIS and 4K recording. Rumours also suggest that Google has created a special chip to do image processing and go beyond the HDR+.

It will come with single SIM support. There was no mention of 3.5 mm audio port and previous rumors suggest the removal of the headphone jack. It will have Adaptive Audio Amplifier and three mics with noise cancellation.

The phone is built out of aluminum with a smaller glass window on the back. It packs 3520 mAh battery but there was no mention of wireless charging.

In few hours, we will have the official specs of the phone. Not just you, we are also excited to know if Google has something to compete with Note 8, Galaxy S8 and iPhone X.
