Google Pixel 2 XL Leak Confirms front firing speaker and larger screen-to-body ratio

Pixel 2 XL

Google will launch its next generation of Pixel devices on October 4. This time we are again expecting a device good with cameras and performance to compete with flagship phones.

Popular leaker Evan Blass has just shared the images of Pixel 2 XL encased and without the case. These images confirm the higher screen-to-body ratio as compared to Pixel XL launched last year. Google tried to reduce the bezels but side bezels are still not as thin as in other flagship phones.

If you look carefully, you also see two front-firing speakers at the top and bottom. In the first image with a case shows clear cut for USB Type-c port but there is nothing for 3.5mm audio jack. So, it suggests that Google has also ditched the audio port.

In the UI, you can see the search box at the base side below the Google apps icons. It also shows reminders.

Rumors suggest that the Pixel 2 XL will be priced at $849 for the base version. Even if the price is high, we are at least getting desired changes in the Google’s flagship phone.

This phone will be directly competing with Galaxy S8 Plus, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X like devices. So, we have lots of expectations. I am sure you guys are also expecting big. Let us know what do you think about upcoming pixel devices. Do not forget to leave comments below.
