Micromax Bharat-1 4G VoLTE Phone Launched for Rs. 2200 in partnership with BSNL

Today, Micromax launched its first 4G VoLTE feature phone in partnership with BSNL. This phone will take on Reliance Jio’s Jio Phone. The phone comes with unlimited calling & unlimited data offer from BSNL at Rs. 97 per month.

Micromax Bharat-1 has 3.4-inch QVGA display. It packs a 1.1GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm 205 (MSM8905) with Adreno 304 GPU, 512 MB RAM. It has 4GB storage that can also be expanded with a microSD card.

It has 2 MP rear camera and VGA front camera. Connectivity features including 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, USB 2.0. It is a dual SIM phone. It packs 2000 mAh battery that is good enough for a feature phone like this.

The phone also supports 22 different languages. Micromax calls it ‘Desh ka 4Gfone’. It also comes with entertainment apps for Live TV, Music, Movies, and Videos. So, the phone has the ability to compete with Reliance Jio.

It will be available across the country from all retail stores starting October 20. If you do not want to use BSNL, you are also free to use the phone with any other telecom operator.
