A few days back, we reported the HBO hacked. Hackers accessed 1.5 TB of data from HBO servers.  As per the reports, hackers accessed several episodes of Game of Thrones and few other TV shows. Currently, the seventh season of the show is being telecasted and HBO is already facing its bad days. They are facing a hard time securing the show content.

Hackers have already leaked two episodes of the game before it was officially streamed. Hackers also accessed the personal phone numbers and email addresses of Game of Thrones actors. The low-quality prints of episode 4 were also leaked from Star India.

In the recent leak, they posted company’s several internal documents, including emails, employment agreements, financial balance sheets, and more. They also sent a video message to HBO President and CEO Richard Plepler. In the video, they demanded his six-month salary in Bitcoin” — which is almost $6 Million”.

“Our demand is clear and Non-Negotiable: We want XXXX dollars to stop leaking your Data. HBO spends 12 million for Market Research and 5 million for GOT7 advertisements. So consider us another budget for your advertisements!”

Hackers have given the deadline of three days to make the payment.

HBO confirmed the data leak but they are not sure what data was leaked. Now hackers are confirming what data they have and their latest demand will surely give HBO people a nightmare.

If hackers really have stolen 1.5 terabytes of data from HBO, they can harm a lot. As expected HBO will deny giving ransom and hackers will leak more episodes of HBO’s shows.

It is still unclear who is behind this hack. We will update this story when we have any information of hackers.
