Apple just confirmed the newer version of macOS. The company will call it macOS High Sierra.

The updated version of macOS promises to be faster. It also helps applications use less space. It also gets Apple File System that replaces HFS as the new default. Apple is already using the same file system Apple already uses for iOS and tvOS.

The Photo app will get the big update. It will offer good photo editing experience and will offer easy search. The company is also opening its Photo Book printing service to third-party apps.

The mail app will take up 35 percent less space than it used to take in the past.

Safari’s JavaScript performance will be 80 percent faster that Chrome. It also gets some security update. It will also use machine learning to block ad trackers. It now blocks auto-playing videos by default.

It will be available as developer beta starting today. The public beta will come later this month. It will be available this fall for free to all Mac users.
