WhatsApp has finally started testing business messaging. It means WhatsApp is getting ready to make some real money and come into the business.

With this new business feature, this instant messaging platform will allow users to communicate with business and organizations. Reuters reported that a“handful” of Y Combinator startups recently began testing the feature. The trial is still in early stage.

Recently, a report claims that a variant app called WhatsApp for Business is being tested in India. Brian Acton, co-founder of WhatsApp recently visited India and hinted the business tool from the company. He also confirmed that this business tool will be useful for small business having less than 10 people.

He also confirmed that the company has no plans to compromise with regard to the simplicity of the platform. It means, there will be no ads or games on the platform.

WhatsApp has over 200 million monthly active users in India that accounts for 15% of the total user base. So, India is an important market for the company to help in revenue.

Many businesses have already been using WhatsApp as a business communication tool for quite some time. When the company will offer a dedicated WhatsApp for businesses, we can expect some good features including an API to manage the messages easily.
