Reliance Retail has surprised us by announcing the latest figure of sales. It sod more than three million LYF smartphones in the second financial quarter that ended September 30, 2016.

The company also announced its partnership with more than 5 lakh retailers across the country to sell LYF smartphones. After the announcement of Jio, demand for low-cost 4G with VoLTE phone has increased and LYF mobiles are best fit for this criteria.

LYF mobiles are available in the price range of Rs. 2999 to Rs. 19,999. It sells from basic smartphones to high-end phones with fingerprint sensor or iris sensors. In terms of quality, these phones have yet to impress users, but numbers are surely impressive.

Reliance Retail aims to be in top three smartphone vendors in country. It is already very close to beat Intex and reach closer to Micromax in coming weeks. LYF had already made its way to top five smartphone brands in the first quarter of 2016. It was a notable achievement for the company.

I only recommend the company to focus on quality of phones more than just the quantity. Selling high number of phones is good for instant money, but making a name for quality phones will help in long run.
