Samsung is recalling Galaxy Note 7 worldwide; Suspends sales

For past two days, we have been seeing negative things about Galaxy Note 7. It was also exploded for few users. So, Samsung decided to investigate and found few issues on devices

So, Samsung has just confirmed that they will be recalled all Galaxy Note 7 devices worldwide. Sales of the phone have also been suspended and Samsung is working to prepare the replacement of already sold devices. The replacement process will take around two weeks. It will replace around 2.5 million Galaxy Note 7 devices with a new product.

Koh Dong-jin, president of Samsung’s mobile business, also apologized for any inconvenience the recall may cause customers. Customers should also cooperate without shouting too much because it is important to for their safety.

There were around 37 incidents when Samsung Galaxy Note 7 saw serious issues while charging. So, the issue could be with battery. Samsung confirms that only 24 out of 1 million devices are at risk. But this number will be larger when shipments will be larger.

If you also own a Galaxy Note 7, you should ask customer support persons for the replacement.
