Xiaomi Launches Mi Drone; It comes in 1080p and 4K versions

Today, Xiaomi introduced its new Mi Drone at an online event in China. This drone has been manufactured by Mi Ecosystem’s company Flymi. It is a compact lightweight drone made of carbon fiber. It comes in two variants: 4K and 1080P. 4K variant is priced at RMB 2999 and 1080p variant is priced at RMB 2499.

It has a 12-megapixels Sony BSI sensor with 6P lenses, three-axis image stabilization and full HD or 4K video recording. It also has RAW image capture.

It comes with a remote control to make image and video shooting easy. You can also control the takeoff, landing and return via this controller. This drone also has a PCB antenna which amplifies the signal so that you can control this MI drone up to 3km. It has GPS, so you can easily trace the Drone if it goes out of connected range.

Mi Drone

It is packed with 5100 mAh battery which allows this drone to fly continuously for up to 27 minutes. If the battery is low, it shows a warning alarm on your phone’s screen. If there is any restricted area, it automatically stops. You can set it to automatically fly to a destination on the map and set a route for the drone.

Mi Drone will be available through crowdfunding by the end of July.
