Google has just updated its Maps app in India to provide improved traffic alerts. The company says that updated traffic alerts will help users to avoid traffic jam conditions while using navigation mode on Android or iOS app.

You just need to open the Google Maps app and use the navigation mode. Here, enter the destination and app will alert you about upcoming traffic conditions on the way. You can quickly identify the quickest route. Google will show you how long you’ll be stuck in a jam and what can be the alternate routes you can take to avoid traffic jams.

This feature is already available for users in the US and was made available in last May. Now, this is available for Indian people.
