Apple announced the price cut for Apple Watch at the launch of iPhone SE. The company confirmed that its smartwatch will be sold for $100 less than the base price. Now just in the US, Apple Watch will also be getting this price cut of Rs. 5000 in India.

The price cut is only applicable on Apple Watch Sport (38 mm) model. Earlier, it was priced at Rs. 30,900 and now it is available for Rs. 25900. Other models will be sold at the same price without any change. It comes in Sport, Watch, and Watch Edition variants.

It runs on WatchOS and offers various features including Force Touch, retina display, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth 4.0. It pairs with iPhone to provide you all the notifications and various controls direct from smartwatch. It comes packed with state-of-art technology-based Taptic Engine and a built-in speaker.

Apple watch was originally announced back in September 2014 and was released in India in November 2015. Worldwide wearable shipment is growing and Apple Watch is the key player with growing user base. Apple Watch is slowly capturing the smartwatch market. Last year, it has around half market share in smartwatch segment.
