microsoft surface bookMicrosoft has finally introduced its first laptop dubbed as ‘Microsoft Surface Book’. Microsoft also claims that the laptop is twice as fast as Apple MacBook Pro. But, this laptop is special and different than other laptops. Screen of the laptop is fully removable and you can then use it as a tablet. There is a button on the side of the laptop to detach the display from the top of the hinge.

Display of Surface Book is of 13.5 inches in size with 267PPI pixel density,  aspect ratio of 3:2 and resolution of 3000×2000 pixels. It has machined magnesium body and looks a silver metal laptop. It is for those who want a bigger but portable laptop with good typing experience.

It will be available with Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, from the Skylake family. It is also packed with Nvidia GeForce GPU with GDDR5 memory. The dock includes two USB 3.0 ports and an SD card slot. To use this with full power, you will have to use it with dock as laptop. Users can configure their Surface Book device to have up to 1TB of SSD storage and upto 16GB of RAM. It depends on what model you select.

It also has a 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. It also supports Hello Face authentication using camera.It is also compatible with Surface Pen.

Surface Book will go on sale starting from October 26th onwards starting for $ 1499. Pre-orders have already begun from October 7th onwards.
