Amazon India has announced Global Selling program for Indian manufacturers. This program will allow Indian businesses to sell their products in global market.
Amazon India is extending two of its products – Selling on Amazon (SOA) and Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) to Indian businesses of all sizes and scale from across the country to go Global. In this program sellers will be able to showcase their “Made in India” products, to millions of gloabl customers with listing on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk.
Amazon is starting this program with few specific categories including apparel, home furnishing, books,jewelry, collectibles, sporting goods, handbags, shoes and health & beauty products categories. Sellers can export their products in global market under these categories. Good thing is that there is no product listing fees and no upfront costs of creating website or adding payment gateways. So, this is really a big opportunity for sellers in India. They have to store their products in Amazon warehouse. Amazon will be responsible for the delivery of the products.

Amazon’s global selling team will also assist sellers in improving their visibility in International market. So, sellers will be able to understand the selling pattern in global market and improve the sale.
