Room change is the biggest problem we usually face in new cities. Most of the people live in rented house and sometimes they have to change the room and shift their luggage and other things they own. Not all people can afford the high cost of packers and movers. So, they do it by hiring a truck and move everything by their own. Now the problem is “Hiring a truck.” We have to go and search for mini-truck owners or travel companies to talk and negotiate. What if there is a service in which we just call and get the truck at out home. This is why “theKarrier” exists. A Bangalore based startup which wants to help you in booking a mini truck in just 45 seconds in Bangalore.

TheKarrier makes it easy to book a truck with just a call, chat or Whatsapp. You will get instant response and truck will be there at your home in just 45 minutes. Company claims to have trusted drives with proper background verification. Driver tracking feature is not yet available but company is working on this feature.

They offer distance based or time based pricing. They charge Rs. 350 for first 3 KM and then Rs. 30 per additional KM. If you opt for time based, you pricing starts from Rs. 800 for 4 hours within 30 KM. At the moment, you have to pay Cash only. But payments via card will be available soon. So, bring the cash in your pocket. One thing to note that you will have to bear the charges at Toll Booths if there is any in the middle.

One thing to note that the company does not offer extra manpower. So, you will be responsible for loading and unloading. May be they will offer this in future.
