Backfy also posted a notification message on its website. This message reads, “We’re excited to announce that we have been acquired by CommonFloor !! The past one year has been nothing less than a roller coaster ride for us. We had some of the worst and best times of our lives :)”

CommonFloor chief executive Sumit Jain confirmed the deal, but declined to confirm the deal amount. “Talent acquisitions is one of the best ways for us to get teams on board, which are collaborative and entrepreneurial, think out-of-box and are hungry to develop disruptive products,” Jain said.

Backfy was founded last year in April. This app lets college students share college gossips, news and events with other students of their college. You are free to set anonymity.

It will be interesting to see how CommonFloor use Bakfy in its platform. We can guess that it can be a messaging service between brokers and customers.
