Dual-LTE variant of Xiaomi Redmi 1s set to launch on January 4

We already know that Xiaomi will announce few new devices on Sunday January 4. Now, GizmoChina has claimed that Xiaomi is set to announced the dual LET variant of Redmi 1S. This device will be available soon after the unveiling.

This new variant of Redmi 1S will be powered by Qualcomm’s 64 bit Snapdragon 410 and will offer 4G via both sim card slots. Current version of Redmi 1S does not support 4G connectivity. Other specifications of the smartphone are 4.7 inch 720p HD display, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage, 2 megapixel front camera, 8 megapixel rear camera, MiUi 6.0 and 2200 mAh battery.

According to report, weight of the smartphone will be 134g. It will also be thinned than its previous variant of the smartphone.

We already know that Xiaomi will also be unveiling its new Xiaomi Mi5 at CES 2015 event.
