MicrosoftAccording to Forbes, Microsoft is all set to jump in the smartwatch sector with its own smartwatch. This watch may come as early as next month.

This watch will have features like fitness tracking and heart rate monitor. This smartwatch will also be able to sync with iPhone, Android devices and Windows Phones. But the name of the smartwatch is still unclear. This smartwatch will be available soon after the launch to get advantage of holiday season.

Under Satya Nadella, this will be first step of Microsoft into a new device category. And its cross platform compatibility will help Microsoft to reach more consumers.

Report confirms that this smartwatch will offer battery life of more than two days or regular use. This will put it ahead of Moto 360 and Galaxy Gear. Apple has already delayed its smartwatch and it will be available in 2015. So, it will be a good time for Microsoft to launch its smartwatch and get less competition.

Earlier this year, many sources confirmed that Microsoft is working on its own smartwatch. But nothing was confirmed from the company.
