As promised earlier, Google has added the support for addresses which contains accented or non-latin characters. This support was announced for Gmail last month. At that time, Google confirmed that this will be rolled out for Google Calendar soon. And in just 6 months, Google added this feature.

Any Google Calendar which needs this kind of accented email address will now work fine. You can easily share or invite users with emails containing non-latin characters.

Google confirmed this in a Google+ post.
