Now You Can Send Emails to Google+ connections Without Having Email Address

New Gmail update has increase your contact book by adding Google+ connections. Now, you can send emails to persons connected on Google+ even if you do not have email address of those.

A new settings now let you specify whether you want to receive emails from people in your circles, extended circle of any one on Google+.

Other person will receive the email along with a message saying that email was send via your Google+ profile. All these kind of emails will be delivered in the Primary category of new inbox if sender is in your circles. Other wise, email will be filtered into the social category. Your email address will not be visible to other person. If you reply the person, only if he will be able to continue conversation.

“Your email address isn’t visible to a Google+ connection unless you send that person an email, and likewise, that person’s email address isn’t visible to you unless they send you an email,” Google confirms.

This feature is rolling out over next couple of days so wait for a week or two. Gmail also promised to notify you once the feature is available for your Google account.
