MediaFire Launches Dropbox Like app for Desktop, Offering 50 GB Free Space

File Hosting company MediaFire has launched a Dropbox like file sharing app for Windows and Mac OS X. This desktop app lets users share files directly from desktop. Beta version of MediaFire Desktop is now available to download for free.

MediaFire Deskop runs on all available version of Windows and mac OS X. It requires at least 1 GB of RAM and 600 MB free space on hard drive.

MediaFire desktop comes with 50 GB of free space for storing your digital stuff. If you need more storage space, you can upgrade to premium plans. Paid plans start at $25 per year for 100 GB.

1. Instant File Sharing Direct from Desktop: With MediaFire Desktop app, you can easily share your files with your contacts on Facebook, Gmail and Twitter.
