Google+ Now Shows Line Count For Long posts and Comments

Google+ Now Shows Line Count For Long posts and Comments

Google has quietly updated Google+ and adds line counter for long posts. Longs posts are collapsed with a “read more” text. Now it added line counts of the post just after the “Read More” text. If the post has less than 10 lines, Google doesn’t display the line count. You can see the snapshot below.

Google has also added similar kind of line count for long comments. If comment is long, Google will collapse it with line count.

Google+ has long history of quietly adding new feature. Google engineers are constantly trying to improve the social network that is lacking users. Facebook is still popular among users while Google+ has few nice features that are not available in Facebook. Most of the active users on Google+ are Googlers or active bloggers. Normal internet users have no interest on Google+.

These changes are being rolled out slowly. So, it will come to all users in next few days.
