At the iPhone launch event, Apple announced that five of its iOS productivity apps Keynote, Pages, Numbers, iPhoto and iMovie– will come for free with the purchase of new iOS device. This offer is valid for iPhone, iPad and 5th generation iPad.
Collectively all apps cost $39.95 from app store. iMovie and iPhoto are cheaper and cost $4.99 while other 3 apps individually cost $9.99.
“Almost all of our customers want these apps,” said CEO Tim Cook during the Apple iPhone event.
Apple customers were migrating to few third-party apps to reduce the cost of these premium apps. This move will surely attract customers back to iOS stocks apps.
