As expected, Sony has officially launched Xperia Z Ultra in India as an event in New Delhi. Official price of Sony Xperia Z Ultra is Rs. 46,990. This phablet will be available in all e-stores and retail stores from August 2. A week ago, it was listed online for Rs. 44,990. It was announced last month.
Sony Xperia Z Ultra Announced with 6.4 Inch Display

Xperia Z Ultra is a high end phablet with nice specifications. It features a 6.4 inch Triluminos Display with X-Reality for Mobiles. Screen has 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution/ It is powered by a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800 quad core processor. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean but Sony has already confirmed Android 4.3 Update. It features a 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording. Camera also features Sony Exmor RS sensor. It also has a 2 megpixel front camera. It has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. It also has microSD card slot to expand storage. It comes with WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS and NFC.

This smartphone is IP55/IP58 certified that makes it waterproof and dust proof. One can also write on the screen with pencil our touch stylus having tip of over 1mm in diameter.

It is packed with 3050 mAh battery with STAMINA mode. Sony also claims that battery will offer 16 hours of talk time and up to 820 hours of standby time.
