“As of the end of April, we supplied four million Galaxy S4 handsets to telecommunication operators around the world. As of Friday, we have sold more than 6 million units, and we predict that we could break the 10-million mark by as early as the end of this month.”

If we compare the sale stats with other galaxy smartphones, it seems to be the fastest selling smartphone of the company. It took 85 days to ship the first 3 million Galaxy S units devices, 55 days to ship 3 million for Galaxy S II and 21 days for Galaxy S III shipment.

Samsung Galaxy S4 is said to be the most powerful smartphone on till date with octa-core processor. But Quad core processor version of Galaxy S4 is also available in few countries.

Galaxy S series is doing well for the company but it is still far behind iPhone. iPhone is still a faster selling smartphone that Galaxy S models. Samsung is dominating the market right now, so we can expect Galaxy S to leave iPhone behind in number of sale records.
