WhatsApp Denied Rumors, They are Not Selling to Google

After too much rumors around, finally WhatsApp broke the ice and said that they are not in talks with Google for any kind of buyout.

WhatsApp business development head has denied the rumor in a statement given to AllThingsDigital. He also denied to comment on the rumors.

Few days back, Digital Trends reported that Google is in talk with WhatsApp to buy this popular messaging service for $1 billion.

This is not the first time when we are hearing the rumors about WhatsApp buyout. Few months back, we have heard that Facebook was also interested in buying WhatsApp but nothing could happen.

WhatsApp is one of the most popular mobile apps. It is a cross platform messaging apps that allow users to share photos, videos, audio and text messages.

We have also heard that Google is already working on a mobile chat messenger called Babel. We will update you when we get more details on this new Google’s messaging service.
