Sony Sold Over 4.6 million Sony Xperia Z in 40 days: Report

According to recent reports, Sony has sold more than 40 million units of its latest flagship Sony Xperia Z in just 40 days. These impressive numbers have been revealed by analyst firm HK Silicon.

Sony has yet to comment on this report and announce official sales records. When Xperia Z went on Sale company confirms that start is good, but there was no word on number of sales. It was launched in India in March and getting good response from customers.

Early launch of Xperia Z was in favour of the smartphone. Its main competitors are HTC One and Samsung Galaxy 4. Most of the countries are still waiting to get these smartphones but Xperia Z is already there.

Sony Xperia Z features a 5 inch full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It was first Sony smartphone to feature 5 inch display.

It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor. It comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. Internal storage of the smartphone is also 32 GB expandable via microSD card. It features a 13 megapixel camera at the back of the device and 2 megapixel camera at the front of the device.

Sony Xperia Z has WiFi, micro USB, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, DLNA, 3.5 mm jack, A-GPS and GLONASS connectivity features. It is packed with 2330 mAh Lithium ion battery that performs well.
