Sony has announced a budget smartphone Sony Xperia E with Android 4.1. Company also said that dual SIM version of this will also be available with name Sony Xperia E dual.
Sony Xperia E features a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen. It is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A processor, 512MB of RAM. Xperia E runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean but its dual SIM variant Xperia E dual will come with Android 4.0 ICS.
It comes with a 4 GB internal storage that is also expandable up to 32 GB microSD card.
Connectivity features of this smartphone includes 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi b/g/n, DLNA, GPS / aGPS.
It is packed with a 1,500 mAh battery that claims to provide a talk time of up to 6.3 hours, or a stand-by time of up to 530 hours.
